LAMECALatin American Magic an Educational and Cultural Association - LAMECA is a nonprofit organization created by local Salseros interested in improving the Latin dance and music scene in Greater Sacramento through K-8 education programs and community events. Sacramento State Salsa Loca Club is a student club formed in 2007 to provide students interested in learning Salsa and other Latin dances a welcoming place to get together. They offer free lessons at 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays in the Student Union but donations to th
e club are appreciated. They also offer an optional membership for $12 a semester. The membership includes a T-shirt and a membership card so that members can skip signing in at events. All are welcome, whether or not they are students. For details e-mail them at
